Environmental Health- MDF to core upgrade

Scheduled - The links from the Environmental Health building to the core will be upgraded to 10G. As a part of this, a new distribution switch will be installed. All network connections in Environmental Health will be down for ~30 minutes during the maintenance window as connections are moved to the new distro switch.

Power loss- West Campus

Resolved - This incident has been resolved.

Investigating - There has been a loss of power, and thus network connectivity at CSU Fort Collins West Campus. Power has been out since ~8:15am. CSU Facilities is aware of the issue and is working with Xcel on remedy.

Oracle Exadata Quarterly Database Maintenance

Scheduled - The Division of IT has scheduled maintenance for Oracle Exadata Databases. We will be performing scheduled maintenance on the production Oracle Exadata system to apply the latest OS and database upgrade releases to the Exadata production virtual machines and databases.

The OS patches will be applied in a rolling fashion, so if your applications are load-balanced you will not lose connectivity during OS patching. However, the database patching from version 19.24 to 19.26 requires the databases to be shut down completely, so you will lose all connectivity toward the end of the patching timeframe. AppMan production will need to be shut down during the entire process. The rest of you may want to consider shutting down your applications during this maintenance window if they will not recover from losing all database connectivity.
